Emotions are “energy-in-motion”. But if that energy is not so wholesome, it can lead to a lot of chaos in our physical body and in our lives. In fact, the cause of most of the chronic ailments is prolonged, excessive harbouring of negative emotions. Our emotions and thought patterns have a profound impact on the way our physical body reacts and behaves. And if we do not address the emotional root-cause of the ailment, the disease does not heal and tends to relapse.

Our disease causing unwholesome emotions are often the result of our toxic thought patterns. Our own thoughts have a great impact on the functioning of our body. If we only manage the symptoms, without changing the thought patterns which subsequently resulted the disease, the ailment reappears, no matter how thorough we have been in following the medical prescriptions and procedures.
There are two types of emotional and mental energies that impact us. The first type are the ones created by our own mental attitude. The other type are projected upon us by our fellow human beings in our environment (95% of our thoughts do not belong to us, we just absorb them and make them our own). There are ways to deal with either of these types of emotional and mental energies.
